This has to be one of the best docudrama type documentaries I have watched pertaining to the subject matter.


It's called "Threads"

brief description...

Threads is a 1984 television docudrama depicting the effects of a nuclear war on the United Kingdom and its aftermath. Written by Barry Hines and directed by Mick Jackson, Threads was filmed in late 1983 and early 1984. The premise of Threads was to hypothesize the effects of a nuclear war on the United Kingdom after an exchange between the Soviet Union and the United States escalates to include the UK.


All 13 parts are up on youtube ..

I really must suggest that everyone checks this out .. It's scary , gripping , and informative , as to what it would really be like if there were an actual nuclear exchange..

I am only on part 7 thus far , and I just had to come on here and hook you all up to watch it as well ... It took me a few to compile all of the parts together on here for easy access for you all , but the docu-movie is worth the time to share .. I am sure alot of you on here will too ..

1980s nukes and 2000 nukes? About the same I bet. England and nuke war would give me a bad case of claustrophobia I'm afraid.

There is a good side to Michigan in that it has lost almost all it's manufacturing base. Not such a good target anymore!
